Adrián Espartal

     I'm Adrián Espartal, a draftsman specializing in storyboarding and animatics, with a strong interest in many of the other areas inside the realm of audiovisual pre-production, such as character design, color script or concept art.

​

     I pursued Fine Arts studies at the Technical University of Valencia, where I focused on drawing, animation, comic and marketing subject areas, and then I joined their Master in Animation as well as the team that developed the short school film 'Princess by Apocalypse' by Raquel Juan.

​

     Shortly after that, I had the pleasure of participating in the production of 'The Last Forest', a short film produced by Kawakib Production Audiovisuelle and directed by Rabia Rahou, together with a small group of excellent artists from all around the globe, such as Traditional 2D Animator Matthew Koh and Background Artist Yuiko Tsugawa.

     After I concluded my work there, I decided to spend some more time polishing and developing skills through personal work (such as Gry) and film analysis, mainly through the Storyboard Artist Mentorship Program, and I'm currently collaborating in a very unique but ambitious videogame project named Heart of the Geometry by Fontail, along with many other spanish professional artists.
