Adrián Espartal
Sobre Mí

¡Hello, welcome!
I'm Adrián Espartal, a draftsman specializing in the art of storyboarding, with a strong interest in many of the other areas inside the realm of audiovisual pre-production, such as character design, color script, concept art, illustration or the production of animatics.
I pursued Fine Arts studies at the Technical University of Valencia, where I focused on drawing, animation, comic and marketing subject areas, and then I joined their Master in Animation as well as the team that developed the short school film 'Princess by Apocalypse' by Raquel Juan.
Shortly after that, I had the pleasure of participating in the production of 'The Last Forest', a short film produced by Kawakib Production Audiovisuelle and directed by Rabia Rahou (ETA early 2024), together with a small group of excellent artists from all around the globe, such as Traditional 2D Animator Matthew Koh and Background Artist Yuiko Tsugawa.
After I concluded my work there, I decided to spend some more time polishing and developing old and new skills through personal work, such as Gry, a small animatic project available on this website, and exploring and experimenting with pre-production disciplines I hadn't worked on much until now, such as animatics or background art, always within the framework of audiovisual narrative.
I'm always looking out for new challenges and opportunities to contribute my artistic skills to different kinds of teams and projects, big or small, so feel free to contact me if you're interested, or you can ask me anything!
